Schedule
Every 2nd week Saturday afternoon starting on 10 January 2026. Doors will open at 12 noon and we expect to close between 5 and 6pm. A championship will be run through the year.
See below for Championship points scoring.
Meeting and Race Format
The meeting will be in 2 parts – an informal ‘have a go’ practice session for about 30 minutes
followed by an organised race for all people which should run until 5pm.
1. ‘Have a Go’ practice can be any car you like – its just about having a bit of fun.
2. The organised race will be for 3 classes - Saloon, Legends, Group 5 Saloons and GT cars (see below for rules)
3. All races will be a Round Robin so each driver gets 2 minutes on each lane.
Results determined on furthest distance covered on all 4 lanes.
Car Rules - SALOON

Electric Motor and running gear should NOT be visible through clear windows. The only exception is with Scalextric crash-resistant 'Start' cars that are sold with opaque windows.
5. Adding ballast (lead, tungsten or blu-tac) is allowed to improve handling. It must be secured.
We will always have club cars and controllers available free to use, so you are strongly encouraged to join in the racing. Club members will usually offer to help out with a loan car if all club cars are taken. Please treat any loan equipment with the respect you would your own.
‘no equipment’ is not 'a thing'!

'Scalextra' saloons will be classed and score points separately from Scalex saloons, but will race together with them. Any car tuned or modified - however slightly - beyond basic 'Scalex' saloon will be classed as 'Scalextra' and can not score 'Scalex' points.
Drivers will be asked before racing which class they are competing in. Transparency is essential. The objective is to encourage budget racing and newcomers to the hobby whilst giving keen tuners plenty of latitude.
