Schedule
Every 2nd week Saturday afternoon starting on 11 January 2025. Doors will open at 2pm and we
expect to close between 5 and 6pm. A championship will be run for Winter, Spring, Summer and
Autumn. See next page for Championship points scoring.
Meeting and Race Format
The meeting will be in 2 parts – an informal ‘have a go’ practice session for about 60-90 minutes
followed by an organised race for all people which should run for about 60 minutes.
1. ‘Have a Go’ practice can be any car you like – its just about having a bit of fun.
2. The organised race will be for Saloon cars (see below for rules)
3. The Saloon race format will be one 2-minute run on each lane to establish a qualifying
order (furthest distance in 2 minutes is top qualifier). Then a series of step-up 3-minute
finals starting with the slowest 4. The 1st 2 in each race stepping up to race the next 2
drivers in the next final.
Car Rules
Any BTCC / Rally Saloon car from the 1970s to the present day
The only permitted modifications are
1. Truing tyres to make them round
2. Lights can be disconnected
3. Adding some weight (lead) to keep the car in the slot.
There are plenty of examples available for low prices on Ebay.
We will always have club cars and controllers so ‘no equipment’ is no excuse.
Fees
Fees for the session will be £4 per adult and £2 for children under 18 (aways to be accompanied
by an adult).
